Grandparent’s Portraits

I have recently purchased an iPad and am busy setting it up as a tool to show my clients the photos from a shoot and prospective clients my folio, it is fantastic ! While going through my shoots so far to create some folio’s I was amazed at how many grandparent’s I had taken photos of. I think it is very important to get images of all members of our family. Here are a few and their stories.

This is what portrait photography is all about.  A photo of grandparents with their grandchildren……of cousins with cousins.

What I love the most about this photo is the personalities of all the kids. Each little personality shows through. The grandparents the centre of the family.

This was taken a few years ago now so I imagine the little one is almost off to kindy. I can’t imagine it.  Mum wanted an extended family shoot of the kids while they were still young. Taken in the backyard of the grandparent’s house. A record of everything really.

This image was taken in one of my favourite places in the Barossa Valley. Near Williamstown home of my grandfathers family so it has special meaning to me. My ancestors were the first caretakers of the “Whispering Wall” reservoir (so my dad says…lol). This lovely couple are fortunate enough to have this as their front yard ! So I just had to snap a photo at sunset with this beautiful lake as the backdrop. They responded to a promotion I did and decided to have photos taken to send to their children that live interstate.

So there you have it…..family photography doesn’t have to be just about mum and dad and their kids. xxxx

I am currently doing research into launching my business full time. I would be very grateful if people could go to my online survey and fill out the form so I can determine the best product and price lists for both myself and my clients.

Kind Regards,

Linda

Thankyou to those that participated, the survey is now closed.

Australia Day in Adelaide

I had a great Australia Day yesterday, we are trying to make it the day each year that the extended family get together and have a little fun.  It’s a great way to catch up with those you don’t see often and recharge the family batteries with hugs and silliness. I hope everyone had a great day yesterday.
